Explanation
The Japanese police inspector-general in Korea reports to the resident-general’s secretary Furuya Shigetsuna on the interrogation of Yang Gi-tak and subsequent procedures. Yang said that he had the Holme Ringer & Co., the agent in Incheon of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corp., keep 30,000 won that he withdrew from donations for the National Debt Redemption Movement. Investigators are checking whether Yang’s statements are true or not.
