Explanation
Miura Goro at the Seoul municipal office relays to the acting general affairs secretary at the Japanese Residency-General the reply from the British consul-general in Seoul regarding National Debt Redemption Movement funds deposited with the Collbran-Bostwick Development Company. A document stating the British government’s position on the Yang Gi-tak case is attached. It says the British government trusts Ito on his assurance of fair treatment of Yang but is not confident of the sincerity of other people.
