Explanation
This is police adviser Maruyama Shigetoshi’s report to the Japanese Residency-General dated July 28, 1907 on the amounts of donations raised by the National Debt Redemption Movement until the end of May 1907. Attached to this is a list of donations from each province. This document reveals the fact that the Japanese Residency-General was continuously watching the progress of the movement.
