Explanation
In this letter sent to Lee Du-hun, president of the Smoking Cessation Association of Goryeong County, Lee Bong-jo and two other men ask for the fund raised by the association to be returned to them, along with donation receipts issued to individuals, because they have decided to spend the money for establishing a school. The letter shows how the money raised through the National Debt Redemption Movement was handled after the movement failed due to Japan’s intervention.
